The V.I.P. Club prepares young adults, ages 13 to 17, for their financial future so they will make educated decisions based on their experience with credit union services.

Benefits

• Savings Account - Open a Savings Account with as little as $5.00 and earn dividends once your account has $50 or more. This establishes your membership at the Credit Union and makes you eligible for additional accounts and services.
• Checking Accounts - Open a Checking Account with no minimum balance to maintain, no per check fee, and no monthly service charge.
• ATM Cards - Provides access to thousands of ATM's, 24-hours a day, to make deposits, withdrawals, transfers and account balance verifications. Plus, transactions at Northern FCU's ATMs are free! Click here to see our list of ATM Locations.
• The CheckExpress VISA Debit Card - Looks like a VISA, works like a check. The CheckExpress Card does everything your ATM card can do and more. Use it anywhere VISA is accepted and the funds for the purchases will come directly from your Northern FCU Checking Account.
• Certificates of Deposit - Savings for fixed periods of time that offer a higher rate of return with flexible terms and minimum deposit options.
• Direct Deposit - Employers automatically deposit your paycheck into your savings or checking account.
• Payroll Deduction - A specified amount of cash is automatically deducted from your paycheck & deposited to the Northern FCU account of your choice.
• Annual Scholarship Program - Each year, Northern FCU offers local high school students a chance to win one of five (5) $500 scholarship to help finance their education. Applicants are judged based upon their academic performance, extracurricular and community activities, essay questions and teacher references. Scholarship applications are typically available in November with a traditional deadline of February.
