The information on this page is to help show members the financial soundness of Northern FCU and their funds. The resources provided, share information about Northern FCU as well as information provided by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) which is the government agency that oversees all credit unions within the United States.

All Federal Credit Union deposits are federally insured by the NCUSIF (National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund. NCUSIF insurance is a separate federal insurance fund similar to the deposit insurance protection offered by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC). Recent legislation increased the base insurance coverage to $250,000.
